May I alter the tracking code?
Not without prior approval by us. Generally we would prefer that you use our code but if, for example, you wanted the counter to fit in a box on your webpage, we would allow you to move the attached links to the bottom of your page

Can I change the style of my counter after signing up?
Yes at any time and without changing any code on your website. Simply log in using your email address and password and select the option change counter style. This change will be reflected on your website immediately.

Can I keep my counter private or invisible?
Absolutely. When given the option to chose your counter style, simply select the Invisible counter. This will build statistics in exactly the same way but the count will not be visible on your website.

I am scared of SPAM emails. Will I receive SPAM?
Not as a result of signing up with mywebstats. Your details will be kept confidential and never passed on to any third party. We will only contact you with information related directly to your hit counter, for example, a reminder of your password if requested.

I have just clicked on my website and yet my statistics do not reflect this click!
Due to the extensive reporting we supply, it is necessary to update the figures in batches rather than after each individual click. The visible hit counter is not affected by this delay which is likely to be somewhere between 5-30 minutes.

How many different designs are available?
Actually, this is virtually unlimited. In addition to our suggested counters on the front page, you may select the Design your own option which allows you to select absolutely any background and foreground colour. We also offer 5 different sizes.

Where in the code should I insert this tracking code?

Some HTML editors show invisible links. When running from a real browser the invisible links will not be shown.

This is usually because you are testing your page before uploading it. Upload it and the counter will change to the one you selected.
